


The film's main message of being yourself is delivered with all the subtlety of a baseball bat to the face, to the point that it becomes unintentional comedy with how it assumes that the audience doesn't know that it's good to be yourself.This is even reflected with the on-demand advertising, which says that it's good for a kids movie night even though G rated and PG rated animated movies are advertised as for families, as in not "just kids only", but for "both kids and adults". This also isn't helped by the movies it is accused of ripping off all managed to break out of the ghetto in their own ways. Animation Age Ghetto: Despite subject matter more suited for pre-teens and teenagers, the movie targets a very young audience with its cutesy characters/environments, a simple plot and having very little conflict.


His inability to stick to only one expression could put countless other emojis out of their jobs, so to Smiler, Gene represents mass unemployment and the potential destruction of Textopolis. Gene's flight from justice causes a lot of damage (including at least one death), and he does not even try to rectify it. Smiler wants to eliminate Gene not only because he fails at an easy task that every other citizen accomplishes automatically, but also because his failure is so catastrophic that it destroys the workplace and threatens the survival of the entire city from the emojis' perspective. Under her rule, Textopolis seems to be a clean, healthy and well-managed city without any crime or social problems, and the citizens we meet are genuinely friendly and good-natured. Alternative Character Interpretation: Many viewers consider Smiler to be a reasonable leader, rather than the tyrant that the film tries to present her as.If it STILL keeps acting up, don't bother keeping that stupid phone just get a better replacement! If your phone still keeps acting up, do a manual factory reset on it. Accidental Aesop: If your phone starts to act up, turn it off and turn it back on later, and/or run a scan on it.
